In shopping centres, lift music has been found to have a psychological effect to make people slow down and browse longer. Its soothing soft melodic tones are designed to not distract listeners but instead fill the otherwise silent space.
Most of us probably hear it in everyday places like shopping centres, hotels, cruise ships, airports and of course elevators but wouldn’t it be nice if we could hear some thing more than this middle of the road music.
